COLD WATERS

For this project, I wanted to exclusively use my phone camera to test its capabilities when shooting landscapes, making images that depict the cool yet calm lochs of the Scottish Highlands in black and white and blue-colour tones. Subject matter for these images depicted the thin branches and silhouettes of trees, with an atmosphere that reflects the cold temperature that the North of Scotland experiences as autumn and winter approaches. The theme of the images was "isolation"; a feeling that I found was suitable as I photographed since the places visited also appeared to be devoid of life. Click each of the images for more.
