ABOUT ME

I am an East Lothian based fine art photographer who aims to experiment with visible colour and infrared colour tones to explore the different perceptions of what people see in reality, but also what they cannot typically see. My main area of expertise is nature and what the environment can offer in relation to image concepts, but I also have a love for telling stories through architecture and portraiture.

 

After capturing my first set of images in 2012 on a small Samsung camera, I have gone on to develop a style that is focused around layering scenes: utilising patterns, leading lines, and shapes to provide a sense of boldness in a traditional composition or abstraction in a more surreal, thought-provoking approach to image making.

I have studied a BA in Photography at Edinburgh College, Scotland.
